Make Recycling Count!
You want to make sure that you push for recycling whenever you can. Try to make the packaging as recyclable as possible. Sure, cardboard boxes are good to recycle, but what about the inner parts? Paper filler is good to make this recyclable, and if the paper does get thrown out, don’t worry, they do degrade over time.
You can also add fabric fibers that are man-made and even wool too. This is good for offering a great way to create a nice presentation too.
For items that are rustic, you can use fabrics, since this makes it look better, but also, you’re helping the planet with the packaging options.
If you plan to utilize any sorts of packaging, try to make it corn-based or other dissolvable sorts of plastics, as this is better than just using regular old plastic and having that float around within our oceans.
Strive for Less
Strive to have less in terms of the packaging. Try to as well just create less waste as well with the packaging that you have. minimal packaging and minimalism is a great way to ensure that there is far less waste. Also, when you have less packaging, it lowers your overall costs, for both the packaging, and the transport along with manufacturing of these materials. This will save you some money, while also helping out the planet.
Another way to also have less, is to shred things. Shred boxes, paper, anything that can go through there. This is good for recycling and getting rid of things.

Stop over Wrapping
You should stop overwrapping things. You probably don’t really think about this, but the thing is, it can play a huge part in the way things work.
Think about it, what type of impression does sending bulky boxes all the time for small things give the customer? The simple one is that it’s wasteful and looks bad. Plus, they’re going to be thrown away regardless.
Rather than shipping out large things within smaller things, try to stack the smaller things, then use stretch wrapping to fit things. This is something that a lot of people may think is more wasteful, but the thing is, using plastic stretch wrapping rather than large boxes offers more protection, and also, it’s not just throwing out boxes.
This also protects the product from breaking over time too, and you don’t have to worry about it getting tossed into the landfill.
